Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Account details: your name and email address, and a securely hashed password if you sign up with one.
• Authentication data: one time codes sent to your email for sign in, kept only until they expire.
• Your searches: the topics, products, competitor channels, and results you generate, saved to your history so you can revisit them.
• Bring your own key: if you add your own YouTube Data API key, it is stored encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and only the last four characters are kept in readable form for display.
• Usage and billing data: credit consumption and subscription status, used to meter usage and manage your plan.
• Technical data: standard log and device information, and analytics events (see Cookies below).

• To provide the core features: keyword suggestions, YouTube search and ranking, and exports.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To process payments and manage your subscription and credits.
• To respond to support requests and send service related emails.
• To understand product usage in aggregate and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary with the processors that power the service:

• Razorpay: payment processing and subscription billing.
• Resend and Zoho (SMTP): transactional and support email delivery.
• YouTube Data API (Google), and search fallbacks SearchAPI.io and SerpApi: to run searches and fetch public video and channel data.
• AI providers (one of Anthropic, Microsoft Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, or Groq): to turn your product description into suggested keywords. We send only the product description you enter, not your identity.
• Google Analytics: aggregate, privacy conscious usage measurement.
• Our hosting and database provider: to run the application and store your data.

Each processor handles data under its own terms and privacy policy. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that let a site remember your actions over time. We use two kinds:

• Essential cookies: set by our authentication system to keep you signed in and secure your session. They are required for the service to work and cannot be switched off without breaking sign in.
• Analytics cookies: Google Analytics, to measure aggregate usage such as which features are used and how the site performs. These are only loaded in our production environment.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking essential cookies will prevent sign in. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt out browser add on, and most browsers offer a Do Not Track setting and private browsing modes.

Account data is kept while your account is active. Search history is retained for a limited window (a default retention period that may be adjusted for your account) and then archived or removed. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We use industry standard measures including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields such as your API key, and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

SaleCracker is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the updated date at the top of this page.
